The Education Committee invites you to submit proposals for presentation at regional trainings for the 2019 – 2020 school year. Trainings are typically an hour (although longer trainings can be accommodated) and take place during the late afternoon on weekdays at various locations around the state. Trainers will be paid a stipend for their time and can also receive mileage reimbursement. The Education Committee seeks to offer a robust and comprehensive professional development program which offers a wide variety of engaging topics to meet the needs of its members.
Interested food service professionals should develop and plan their presentations using the USDA Key Areas and Coding document . Topics must qualify for attendee CEUs. The Request for Proposals form * should be completed and submitted by June 7, 2019 to Sharon Shettleworth, Education Committee Chair at firstname.lastname@example.org.
